HexFest has gathered Witches, rootworkers, and other magical teachers from within New Orleans and around the world to offer their time-honored wisdom. Featured presenters and vendors for 2017 hail from across the spectrum of Witchcraft and magic. Our vending area is open from 9 am to 7 pm on Saturday and 9 am to 4:30 pm on Sunday. Browse our schedule below and click on the name of the workshop for complete details. Each workshop holds between 50 and 75 people and is first come, first serve; hurry to ensure your spot! The Riverboat has room for every attendee at the festival.

Friday, August 11

Join us dockside at the Creole Queen for our Riverboat Ritual. Meet at the HexFest table for your boarding pass. Boarding begins promptly at 6 pm! When onboard, meet us in our private Creole Room for dinner at 6:15 pm where you can mingle with presenters and other guests as we cruise down the Mississipi river. Dinner is followed by ritual and drumming until 9 pm!

Join us on the Moonwalk along the banks of the magical Mississippi, by St. Louis Cathedral and Jackson Square, for a closing rite to thank the spirits for their blessings and to honor the magic and friendships created during this powerful time.
